Their plan is to use the government to force us to buy their “insurance products” and to have the taxpayer subsidize it! The current “market driven” health care system has failed us. The USA ranks 37th in the world, yet we continue to spend far more than any other country. 46 million are without insurance, at least 50 million are under-insured, and too many of us are at risk for health related financial ruin. The industry’s solution: open a store in a strip mall. WE NEED UNIVERSAL, SINGLE-PAYER HEALTH CARE NOW !!! Only with a universal, not-for- profit, single-payer, healthcare system can we eliminate the useless and expensive middleman who wastes 15-30% of each healthcare premium dollar on overhead, including claims denials, paperwork, advertising, marketing, obscene executive salaries and profits, and yes, stores in strip malls.
